BALI, INDONESIA - Nixon revealed its latest
conception on 17 April 2012 at one of Asia’s top surfing destinations,
Bali, Indonesia. Located at Legian, the new space features the brand’s
newest retail concept and is the first stand-alone boutique for Nixon in
Indonesia. Armed with not only a premium selection of Nixon products
which include watches, accessories and audio products, the 80sqm space
also shelters an on-site servicing centre which will cater to all of the
brand’s after care needs.
“The opening of this very first
Nixon store in Indonesia couldn't have found a more perfect timing for
several reasons”, marvels Nixon’s Brand Manager of Asia, Marko Yeo. He
also adds that “it's a great way to showcase our new retail concept in
the heart and soul of one of the world's most famous surfing meccas with
summer just on the horizon. There is a service center located at the
back of the store to cater to all our customers' and retail partners'
servicing needs and this enables us to take our customer service to the
next level! We are really stoked at the result of this store and would
like to thank all our friends, family, the media and supporters who made
our launch so successful and we couldn't have done it without
everyone's continued support!”
In true Nixon fashion, food
and drinks, and great music provided by DJ Jasmine, played
accompaniment to the store opening. Gracing the event were not just
close friends and family alike, but making a special appearance were
firm figures of the surf scene: Nixon’s team riders Betet Merta and Made
Raditya Rondi, ISC and ASC head Tipi Jabrik, and current ISC Champion,
Marlon Gerber. Further adding on to the party mood, Nixon also threw an
exclusive afterparty at the famed Vi Ai Pi club in Kuta.
Nixon Legian is located at Legian Street No. 135, Kuta, Bali, and is opened daily from 9am - 10pm.
